Cat's Coffee & Cake is the passion project of master pastry chef Yi Catherine Yang. Having run a successful food blog and presided as a judge on one of China's most popular TV cooking shows, Catherine has worked with Tourism industries across the globe (Europe, Australia and Korea) to promote an exchange of culinary cultures to her sizable Chinese following.
Opened in July 2020 during the height of the pandemic, Cat’s Coffee & Cake quickly developed a roster of bright, young baristas and bakers who share a passion for the culinary arts and unparalleled customer service. Today, the local café-bakery now services a wide variety of clients—office workers, fresh students, and loyal seniors—in the downtown Victoria area, seven days a week.
Our menu now features an array of croissants, sandwiches, and unique, Asian-inspired treats, baked in-house daily, using the highest quality ingredients to equally high standards. Likewise, our drink menu rotates with the seasons, and unique tea and coffee-based beverages are continually being developed. Our café and bakery remains dedicated to culinary innovation, propelled by our brilliant team.
